What is Urgent Care?

Management of non-life threatening illnesses such as: colds, flu, stomach aches or infections, influenza, bronchitis, rashes, and more.

Urgent care centers are same-day clinics that can handle a variety of medical problems that need to be treated right away, but are not considered true emergencies. Symptoms that can be evaluated and treated at an urgent care clinic are various but may include:
  • Mild to moderate asthma
  • Eye irritation and redness (Pink eye and styes)
  • Fever, sore throat, congestion or cough
  • Sinus infections
  • UTI (Urinary tract infections)
  • Bladder infections or yeast infections
  • Painful urination

  • Vomiting, diarrhea, or dehydration
  • Skin conditions like athlete's foot, shingles, bug bites/stings
  • Sprains and strains
  • Bumps, minor cuts, scrapes, blisters and wounds
  • Vaccinations
  • School, sports, employment or general wellness physicals

If you have a life-threatening condition like chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke, head trauma or severe bleeding call 911 or go straight to your nearest Emergency Room (ER).
